I just came back from South korea. Everyone in that location was using an iPhone…People even in South korea prefer iPhones over Galaxys due to their more recent controversy surrounding GOS.
Also, there is a meme about how Milky way phones are for older people (아재폰) which Samsung tin can’t really get rid of. Their flip series are somewhat popular for people in their 20s, but many shift dorsum towards the iPhone when they realize there is not much reasoning backside why a phone should fold in one-half.

Deserved. v years agone, I would recommend Samsung over Apple tree, but today I would recommend Apple over Samsung. If Samsung brings back SD bill of fare/jack, improves video capture quality, increases updates to 5 years OS, 7 years security, gets rid of annoying curved screen and holes, and reduces bloat of OS, then I would recommend over Apple. But at present, you take to exist stupid to buy Samsung over Apple.
